Kite surfers doing their thing,
kids frolicking along the incoming tide on a warm final Sunday in August.
It doesn’t get better than this.
Sadly, in just days, the shovels and buckets surrender to school books,
the beach becomes quiet and the crabs and the periwinkles gladly announce
that the coast is now clear.
Close to where we, as humans, began features a sailboat off in the distance, a kite surfer doing his thing, and of course children, who need no primer on how to remain connected to what sustains and what is real. Waiting for Work…buckets at the beach, has always
