Just Gotta Move!

Some moments, the best of moments actually, like Just Gotta Move, appear spontaneously out of nowhere.

We were setting up for a tee shirt hand-printing project with children recently and  pop music was playing on the stereo. The first image shows young people and staff setting up for the project, seemingly unaware of the thumping music on the radio…that is, except for Harriet who was on the stage in the rear getting ready for action…

Just Gotta Move

There is a fluidity, a kind of liquid grace that comes with children and teens who simply feel and move and go…

Just Gotta Move

Just Gotta Move

Just Gotta Move

Just Gotta Move

Just Gotta Move

And of course…without rehearsal or setup, there’s always the finish…

Just Gotta Move …just like that!

  1. HI,
I’d love to use the last photo of Harriete in our Framingham Meeting Bulletin. I’ll ask her parents, of course, but is it ok with you and should I credit a photographer?

  2. Hi Donna,
Thanks for your interest in these pics. And yes, with parental permission, you are most welcome to use the image in your Meeting’s Newsletter. And the photo credit would go to me, Kevin Lee.
You’re welcome to copy the image off of my site, but, if you find that it’s not good enough for printing (depends on how large you print) then I’d be happy to send you the full-sized image for your Newsletter.

  3. Hi Felice… thanks for your comment on my post earlier this month. Hope to catch you on staff with us again SOON!

  4. Greetings Donna, life moves so fast… I’m not completely sure that you were able to copy the pic you wanted. Did you? If so..great. If not, let me know and I’ll get on it pronto and email one to you! Thanks for your comment and interest in the pics of Harriet, too.
