Resources for Getting through challenging times

When the bridge is out the narrowest plank becomes precious. A reflection on this Hungarian Proverb by yours truly.

Tiny Buddha: 9 Guidelines to Get Through Challenging Times. A great, simple and straight forward approach for Getting Through Challenging Times. The Tiny Buddha Web site itself is a good resource worth bookmarking for many other reasons too. Some of their material seems “light-duty,” however, but that might be just me as the site is very popular.

The Samaritans: If you find yourself wanting to give up… reach for help here, they can help. You can feel better.

99u: How to deal when you’re disappointed in yourself, by Allison Staad, is a terrific article that relates to us all sooner or later. I included it here as a resource because sometimes how we feel about ourselves contributes directly to what we experience as challenging times. 99u is itself a terrific site, primarily geared for tech-types, gear-heads, etc, (my view anyway) but they also offer interesting and refreshing articles and videos on a wide range of different topics too. Sometimes it’s hard to find truly new material on the Web, and 99u does it consistently.
